November 2008 This year I built a solo canoe which got me caught with the bug of canoe building. Our fibreglass tandem is a little too long and I persuaded my husband that maybe we should exchange it for a home-built cedarstrip canoe. After making line drawings of the hulls from several of the 16 - 17 foot boats in Ted Moores book, I finally decided to buy plans for the Kipawa. I hope within the next two years that will be paddling together in a wooden boat.
